Jeff Sharp is a twenty-five plus year secondary art educator from Maryland who also makes stuff. Since earning his BA in Art and Art History from McDaniel College in 1994 and MA in Publications Design from University of Baltimore in 1999, Jeff has been an avid artist specializing in mixed media sculpture, printmaking as well as small press comics.
Jeff has exhibited in a number of small press comic shows including: Small Press Expo, MOCCA Arts Festival, and the San Diego Comic-Con, as well as select Maryland based group shows at Atomic Books, Spacecamp and the Carroll Arts Center. Recently, he co-founded the 5x7Underground artist group with artist/teacher Mary Beth Francis. Jeff Sharp currently resides in Westminster, Maryland with his wife, two kids, black lab and cat that likes to torment the black lab.
